How to request deletion
Send an account deletion request to info@tudapp.com with the subject line "TUD account deletion request".
If you cannot access your account, use the same email address connected to your TUD or Google Play account when possible so we can verify the request.
What to include
- The email address or Google account used with TUD, if you have one.
- Your Firebase user ID if the app shows it or support has asked for it.
- Whether you want to delete your account and associated app data, or only certain data such as feedback or screenshots.
- A short note confirming that you understand deletion may remove learning progress, XP, mission history, saved preferences, and locally synced account data.
What we delete
When we verify and complete an account deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with your TUD app account where required and reasonably possible.
- Firebase account records controlled by TUD.
- Firestore user profile data, learning progress, XP, level, preferences, seconds remaining, subscription status, learner memory, and scenario progress.
- Feedback records and feedback screenshots associated with your user ID where deletion is required and technically available.
- Other app data associated with your account that TUD controls.
Local device data
Some TUD data may be stored only on your device, such as local session logs, word vault entries, preferences, and onboarding status. You can remove local data by clearing the app or browser storage, signing out and clearing local data where available, or uninstalling the app.
Subscriptions must be canceled separately
Deleting your TUD account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop future charges, cancel TUD Plus through your Google Play subscriptions before or after requesting account deletion.
Purchase and refund records may remain with Google Play, RevenueCat, payment processors, or TUD where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, or legal compliance.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited information when needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, payment records, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, backups, or enforcing our Terms. Retained data will be limited to the purpose that requires retention.
Timing and verification
We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable time after receiving enough information to verify the account. If local law gives you a specific response period, we will follow that period where it applies.
